Children's data

A child's Alurio account holds as little data as possible: a nickname, and play progress (the two scores: mission and English). We do not ask for full names, addresses, or other personal data from children (PLT-02/03).

Consent for a child's account sits with the parent or guardian. A child's account cannot be created without that consent.

Parental consent

The parent or guardian registers and consents to the child's use of Alurio: sign-up, creating child profiles, and privacy settings all happen from the parent's account.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time through account settings. Withdrawal stops new data collection for the child profile.

Photos, recordings, and media TTL

When a child answers with a photo, voice recording, or drawing, that media is used only to check the answer against what the author wrote — and then deleted (MED-01..05).

By default, media is deleted within 24 hours. Media is never used for any other purpose and never shared.

Accounts and sessions

Sessions, devices, and connection tokens are managed from account settings. Unknown devices can be revoked at any time.

Retention and deletion

We keep data while the account is active and as needed to operate the service. Account deletion removes identifiable data in accordance with applicable law.
